Easy Grated Potatoes |

servings:- 2 persons
Ingredients:-
2 large potatoes1 big onion
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp kanda-lasun masala(available readymade in market,If not available,you can use 1 tsp red chilli powder+2,3 pinches of garam masala)
1.5 tsp oil
chopped cilantro/coriander
salt to taste
Method:-
1. Wash and peel the potatoes.
2. Grate the potatoes.(using a grater with large holes).Immediately keep it in a bowl containing water(otherwise potatoes will turn black).
3. Chop the onion.Heat oil in a kadhai/wok.
Add cumin seeds,onions,saute till translucent.
4. Add masala.Add grated potato,removing water by pressing it inbetween palms.
5. Add salt to taste.Mix well.Cover with a lid & keep it on medium-low flame for 7-10 mins.Donot add water at all.It should be steam cooked.When potatoes are done,it is ready to serve.
6. Sprinkle chopped cilantro/coriander& serve hot.(Can be eaten with chapati also)
