Ingredients:

For pattice :          

4 big boiled potatoes,

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp,

1/2 tsp garlic-ginger paste,

1/4 tsp red chilli powder,

salt

for ragda:-
1.5 cups white peas,
2 tsp oil,
1/2 tsp turmeric powder,
1 tsp red chilli powder,
1 tbsp garlic-ginger paste,
 1 tsp  garam masala powder,
salt
water
Tamarind chutney.

For garnishing :- 
    2 finely chopped onions,
    sev,
    chopped  coriander,
   chat masala.   

Method:-

 To make pattice :-

1. Peel the boiled potatoes and mash them while they are hot/warm(this makes mashing easier).
2 Add red chiili powder,salt,turmeric powder,garlic-ginger paste & mix properly.
3. Take a lemon size mixture & make round flat pattice.Shallo fry on tawa till golden brown.

To make  ragda :-
1. Soak the dried white peas overnight in water.
2. Pressure cook the peas with water till they are soft and tender.
3. Heat oil in a vessel. Keep on low flame.
4. Add red chiili powder,garlic-ginger paste,turmeric powder,garam masala powder.
5. Add cooked peas.
6.Add salt,cumin-coiander powder & mix well.Turn the heat to medium-high.
7. Add water just enough to make the consistency semi-thick.
8. Simmer  for 7,8 mins.

Serving ragda pattice chat :-

    1.Take a serving plate.Place 2 pattice.Put some ragda over pattice.
   2. Add 2 tsp tamarind chutney. Add chopped onion.Sprinkle some chat masala,sev & garnish with finally chopped coriander.(Tastes best when served hot/warm .Serve immediately).
